Does Mitt Romney deserve to win the 2012 Presidential election?

  • Obama's record says that he is not a competent president

Though it is true that Mitt Romney is rich, he has showed by his governorship in MA that he can work with both Republicans and Democrats to fix the debt and balance the budget. And to the people who have a problem with the amount of money he has: did any of you know that Romney donates over 30 percent to charity? And did you also know that Mitt Romney isn't going to raise taxes for the middle class? He is just going to cut some loopholes in the system. If we went with Obama's plan to just tax the upper class more, it still would not be nearly enough to make a significant change to the debt.

  • Never

I do not think Romney deserves to win the American presidential election because he is not for the people. As far as I'm concerned he doesn't live in the real world. He isn't going to tackle America's unemployment problems, he is for the rich and the rich have jobs! Four years isn't enough for a person to completely have their say, give Obama more time and he will sort America out once and for all.

  • The wealthy keep getting wealthier

Mitt Romney has not proposed anything that will bolster the middle class. The report to Congress shows that the wealthiest in the USA in the past 20 years have increased the percentage of the wealth that they possess. If this rate continues by 2050 the top 10 percent of the wealthiest will own a staggering 92 percent of the wealth. This will totally wipe out the middle class.

  • He has not proposed a workable solution

His tax plan continues the tilting of the wealth going more and more to the upper top wealthiest people. For too many years the lower 90 per cent have lost in percentage of wealth and the top 10 percent continue to lose. If the current of the past ten years continues the top 10 percent will own a staggering 92 percent of the wealth in the USA.
