Does people like to use video game as a scapegoat on violent acts ?

Asked by: stephannoi
  • Yes, this is the case

Video games have been treated as a scapegoat for violent acts. Groups like the Nra love to place the blame on imaginary guns rather than on real killing weapons. Scapegoating is an easy thing to do, and can divert attention away from the real problems. It has long since been proved that video games do not make people violent.

  • I believe so

As seen in the press and media all the time as of 2018 the news use video games such as FORNITE on Good Morning America to 'warn' parents about a game that revolves around building and has cartoon artwork. Again and again, people who do not want gun reform use video games as an excuse for gun violence.
