Does police always get the wrong end of the stick?

  • Never find the middle ground

All job sucks but I believe police work probably sucks the most, mainly because it seems like no matter what you do you will always end up pissing off someone. Police is there to uphold the law and part of their job is to take crap from law breakers but can't they at least get a break from the general public. Instead of always asking for explanation regarding if the police is using excessive force can't we accept the fact that the reason police have to use force is because 99% of the time the person they are trying to arrest ain't cooperative and 100% of those people want to kick in the face of every police officer.

  • They regularly do.

Police regularly get a bad wrap even when they should not. Police risk their lives every day to protect the average citizen that does not care at all about the police. Police should be respected. They should not be mistreated or spoken of poorly. Most police are genuinely good people. They have to react quickly without a lot of time to think about their actions. With a job like that mistakes are going to be made. We should give them the benefit of the doubt when these mistakes happen.
