Yes, Renee Zellweger deserves criticism over her plastic surgery. Her eyes were always very distinctive and now her face has changed drastically. She is a public figure and as such anything that changes her appearance will be noticed and commented upon. Had she simply admitted that she had surgery and changed her look the criticism might not have been so harsh.
She deserves critics for her face before surgery. Also, there is no criticism in any of these articles, here: http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/22/living/renee-zellweger-face-backlash/
This is called faux controversy. The article mention 4 other people defending her looks but forgets (oops!) to mention who 'attacked' her in the first place. In Mad Men circles we call this 'native advertising'.
I don't think that is really all that important, but every one seems to think that they should be able to criticize any one who is famous for just about everything. I really don't care, she can do whatever to her face. Sure, we are all entitled to our opinions, but really....
Unfortunately for famous Hollywood stars, there entire lives are scrutinized and judged under a microscope. I bet if we had a magazine for every citizen out there to be judged and scrutinized like the famous movie stars, we would have people laughing at us across the globe. It is her choice, don't like it, don't look at it and keep your opinion to yourself.
No, Renne Zellweger does not deserve the criticism she is receiving over her plastic surgery. It is her body, and she has a right to treat it the way she would like as long as it does not impact other people. This is no different than piercing your ears, or getting tattoo's.
