Don't expect safe spaces or trigger warnings: Is it ethical for universities to deny safe spaces and trigger warnings for their students?

  • I think it is more than ethical.

I agree that students are not entitled to have, or not have a safe space.

I believe though, that the world is a very diverse place, and everyone is going to have a different opinion, and that safe spaces hurt students more than helping them, by not preparing them for society, and for the fact that the world won't always share the same opinion as them on everything.

  • Not entitled to either

While there is nothing wrong with safe spaces or trigger warnings, nobody is entitled to them.
