I believe that earmarks are valuable, and they should not be abolished, because funds need to be regulated. A set amount to a specific cause, or organization. To fill their needs. If we did not have earmarks a lot of causes would be forsaken by congress in favor of their political agenda. Earmarks make sure every cause gets its due.
