Egyptian President Mubarak should go immediately: Should Mubarak go immediately before the September election?

  • Allow Egypt to enter cleanly into a new era

Mubarak is infamous for orchestrating the deaths of hundreds, if not thousants of protesters in Egypt in the past several years, and has lived a life of immense opulence and corruption. His presence could only serve to damage the democratic process of the new elections, and therefore he should not be present for the September elections.

  • Democratic Processes Need To Follow Their Timeline

In order to maintain a democratic system, there needs to be a schedule of when elections happen and how they are conducted to maintain fairness. Since Egyptian President Mubarak was elected through September, he should remain until his time is up and then be replaced naturally during the scheduled election.
