English in French public broadcasting: Should the French allow English in its public broadcasting television and radio programs?

  • Yes!! Should be allowed

English is a international language- which means france should allow it in public things like t.V and radio for tourists. This would also be good to let other people learn the english language and hearing it more often would allow them to speak/ write it much better. Plus more english would be better in general for everyone

  • The French should allow English in its public broadcasting television and radio programs.

The French should allow English in its public broadcasting television and radio programs. English is becoming the most popular and widely spoken language in the world for conducting business and other governmental things, so French children should be exposed to the language at a young age so that they are successful later.

  • Yes, why not?

I don't see any reason why the French could not include English in public media. There are many people throughout the world who speak English, especially because it is the universal language of business. There may be many English speaking residents in France who would appreciate this. By that same token, I think American public media could also include other languages such as French, Spanish, etc.
