The European Union is a valuable organization that has made the lives of many Europeans better. Of course, it is morally right to bring the rights and protections of the EU to new countries. The EU has made trade and trade and travel easier, and it is brightening business oportunities for all the member nations.
It is morally correct to expand the European Union (EU). The EU is based on a treaty that states that freedom, equality, democracy, law, and respect for human rights are paramount. Not allowing the EU to expand would undermine these values and be immoral. If they meet the criteria (either democratic or economic), candidates for the expansion should be let in based on moral obligation.
