  • Models are photoshopped

Even models are photoshopped, and young girls and boys want to look like those m odels, so they start to starve themselves. Is that healthy? No. I know fashion is a aprt of the society and our community, and I respect that. But couldn't those models look idealistic so you actually could achieve that look without need to starve themselves. That's just my opinion.

  • People are starving themselves

Becasue they think that will make them look 'healthier' and 'beautiful' . People need to learn to love themselves for who they are. We are all on this earth for a reason and if we all looked the same that would be very boring. I personally think that the fashion industry don't help at all with this, as they are promoting their products on all these thin, flawless models and I think they could change that easily by using a range of models, all different shapes and sizes.

  • Fashion? No. Models? Perhaps, but that depends on what kind of a person you are.

Fashion is simply the trends and popularity of clothing and accessories at the moment in different societies. Models and the yearn to look as attractive as them are not parts of fashion. Of course, when modeling new lines of clothing, models play an important role. But whether or not a person decides that model's body to be what they wish to have or their clothes & accessories is up to the person. Overall though, fashion only adds to a society's culture.

  • Fashion really does hurt society

Fashion supports waste, it supports judgment and ridicule. It makes others think they are not worthy. That is to say if they do not look a certain way then they do not belong, and in this it supports shame. It promotes the things in life that make life hard and degrading, it divides people. Life is hard enough, let us support the good things in life.

  • Fashion supports individuality

Judgement and ridicule happen, either way, even if everyone wore a white toga, people would still laugh at you for your teeth, hair, etc. Fashion is a way for someone to express their feelings and personality. If someone ridicules you for fashion it is the person's fault, not the system's.

  • You don't have to look like the models

Models are just there to sell you the clothes. Many of the models are fit and healthy, and are paid to look that way. Just because they look beautiful, that doesn't mean that you have to look like them to be beautiful. But if your dumb enough to starve yourself to look JUST like them, then your an idiot,
