FBI releases details on Bill Clinton's pardon of former hedge-fund manager Marc Rich: Are late-breaking items such as this too late to influence voters?
  • Bill Clinton's pardons won't influence voters

Bill Clinton had his time in office. It is now time for Hillary. The election is only 5 days away and it is simply too late for voters to be influenced by Bill Clinton's pardon of Marc Rich. Both candidates are deceptive and will do whatever it takes to get into office. I am not sure that either of the two candidates should be president. Bill Clinton did some things in office that he regrets and people forgave him for that. This pardon happened so long ago that it should have no bearing on Hillary's presidential run.

  • Voting is already underway.

Yes, breaking items are too late to influence voters, because people have already made up their minds as the election draws near. A lot of early voting has already happened. People want to be confident in their vote, and that means making up their mind and sticking with it. If a person hasn't been offended by either candidate to date, they're not going to be offended.

  • Yes, late-breaking items such as this are too late to influence voters.

Yes, late-breaking items such as this are too late to influence voters because the option should be clear. There should be no one on the fence anymore. It does not make sense for someone to waver back and forth between the two candidates. They are so different that it shouldn't influence anyone.

  • No, they are not

This is exactly why some of these things come out last minute. Because they are not too late to influence voters, and they come out late enough that their is not enough information for people to make an informed opinion about these revelations and can simply be swayed by emotion alone.
