Florence Henderson Returns to DWTS as Maureen McCormick's Brady Bunch TV Mom: Does America have a problem with celebrity worship?

  • Yes, America has a problem with celebrity worship.

Yes, America has a problem with celebrity worship because the public cannot let any old characters go off into the sunset. We are always bringing these old shows back for the sake of nostalgia, but the truth is, there are much better shows on TV now than there ever were before.

  • Yes, it does.

America has a huge problem with celebrity worship, although this is not a particularly extreme example of it. A more extreme example would be the paparatzi, the many magazines and the many men and women who model thier lives after their favorite celebrities or what they think their favorite celebrities do.

  • Celebrities show us a side of ourselves

No, America does not have a problem with celebrity worship. We enjoy watching celebrities because they give us a glimpse into ourselves by watching them and help us to dream of something bigger. By watching the same celebrities others are, we have an opportunity to have a shared experience with many other people.

  • There are too many celebrities.

America does not have a problem with celebrity worship because there are too many famous people today. So many people are famous that a very famous person could walk down the street undetected if people aren't familiar with the thing that they are famous for. Americans care about their interests and hobbies, not about celebrities.
