Forbidding communion to individuals over political beliefs: Should the Church forbid communion to individuals over their political beliefs?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • No they should nbot forbid individuals

State and church are separated in the United States and churches should have to fallow that belief as well. Someone should be allowed to have their own political view on something, and be allowed to fallow whatever religion they want. No one should be barred from any religion as it should accept all members.

  • Political Beliefs should not Impact Religious Engagements

Individuals should not be prevented from partaking in Communion because of their political beliefs. There should be a separation of church and state and political affairs should have no connection with going to church. By forbidding individuals, the church is forcing them to share their political beliefs. It also appears to violate the notion of the right to choose.
