    If they can gather a big enough army and go up there they would make a difference somehow by forcing them to stop resisting. The problem in Chechnya should be capable of being solved because it is not exactly an extremely powerful superpower so of course it should be possible for a force to deal with them.

  • A force coule definitely be assembled

    The United States alone could assemble a force capable of dealing with any problem in any country including the Chechnyan problem. The problem just is not big enough or profitable enough for any country to care. If Chechnya suddenly found massive oil reserves America would be there tomorrow, but they have no discernible attribute.
