Free trade: Does free trade help improve relations among countries?

  • Yes, Trade Promotes Communication and Cultural Exchange

Free trade among countries has encouraged businesses and individuals to learn more about other cultures in order to understand them and work together. While the motivations may not always be pure, the improved communication and interaction has allowed for improved global cooperation and understanding, which allows different countries and their citizens to work together.

  • Free trade is a good thing.

Free trade benefits relations among countries. Trading between countries benefit all involved. It only makes sense to go someplace else when items needed are not readily available nearby. It is often cheaper to outsource than to do work at home when the resources are simply not available. Why would anyone have a problem when it is good for all involved?
