Freedom of assembly: Should there be a right to freedom of assembly?

  • Freedom of assembly is a right.

    We all have a right to freedom of assembly and we should be able to use this right if we want to. If we want to petition and boycott, we should do so if we think that something is not being ran properly. I think the freedom of assembly just scares government and other workforces.

    The right to freedom of assembly is an inherent right that cannot be granted or modified by a government. Government often puts illigitimate and "illegal" restrictions on people assembling. Our rights are not given to us by a government or other organization. Our rights are naturally ours to possess and express on an individual basis. So if a group of individuals decide to assemble,then that is the right of each member of the assembly..
