Fuel cell vehicles: Can the world afford to change their transportation?

  • Yes they can.

The world can't afford NOT to change their transportation. As fuel becomes more and more expensive, as well as polluting the environment, we have to find another way to get around. Fuel is not a limitless resource and it will eventually run out. We need to act before this happens and find a different form of transportation.

  • It is too expensive to produce.

Gasoline is easy to obtain and is readily available. Most cars in production today run on gasoline. This would require car companies to change all of their production procedures. Changing machinery and training new workers is expensive alone. But then they would be stuck excess inventory of cars that do no use fuel cells. They may not be able to sell off these cars. It is just one giant expense.
