Google, Red Hat discover critical DNS security flaw that enables malware to infect entire internet: Should google provide better internet security?
  • Google should provide better internet security

Google should provide better internet security. This comes in the wake of a discovery by Google and Red Hat that there is a critical NS security flaw. This allows malware to infect the entire internet. Since usage of the web has become ubiquitous and a key element in our economy and society at-large, this cannot stand.

  • Fix the problem Google!

Why wouldn't Google fix the security flaw, once discovered? When there are bugs, issues, flaws, they need to be fixed. Especially ones that could have such a large impact. Yes, it may take years to fix the flaw, but does that justify not doing it? NOPE. Start working on it Google!

  • Always work to be better.

Seeking out better security is going to be a constant. It's not something that is going to go away, basically ever. I think we should expect that Internet Security is a normal part of everyday life that always needs tweaking and improving rather than just some kind of response to a threat.

  • Google should provide better Internet security

Of course Google should provide better Internet security. When the consumer relies on a product and/or service that companies like Google provide, especially considering Google profits off these products and services, it is far from unreasonable to expect the most stringent of security measures possible. Time for Google to step up and fix the problem it started.
