I don't believe that a ground zero mosque respects the 9/11
victims. I am a person that believes
that everyone should be free to practice their own religion without interference
from the government or private citizens.
At the same time, I believe that building a mosque at ground zero is in
bad taste and disrespectful to the victims of 9/11.
No, a ground zero mosque does not respect 9/11 victims, because religion was a center point of the attacks of September 11. Those who attacked did so in the name of Islam. It would be a second way to victimize the victims to honor the religion that killed them, rather than to simply honor the victims. There are lots of other places for mosques.
