  • Internet Has Changed Human Way of Life

The Internet has adversely affected the lifestyle of mankind. A very small yet effective example is the decreasing importance of 10-year High School Reunions. Students now are interconnected with even the slightest aquaintance they met in high school that 10 years down the road they would not need to attend a reunion to catch up with those individuals. The ability of the Internet to rapidly spit out information to individuals changes the speed at which we do common tasks that would've taken longer to do without the Internet. Another example is when a student is researching a famous person; instead of taking the time to go to the library and use the library's computers to look up the specific page of an Encyclopedia for the famous person, they need only to open up Wikipedia and search for that same person and be exposed to hundreds of facts and details.

  • Yes I think so.

Because it has given more than required exposure to children who fail to understand how much is enough for them. The result is that either they waste most of their time in doing what is not required or they deviate from what they should be doing. Moreover, it gives an access to experiences they never required.

  • The internet has diminished the value of print and has brought forth the issue of rampant piracy.

The internet has its merits, and that goes without saying. However, if we were to look at the economical, social, and legal implications behind it, the internet has done an equal amount of harm to modern society. In this case, I will be saying yes, despite my appreciation for the internet.

Let's take a look at the entertainment industry. Music, video-games and movies (mostly in that order) are harmed by the internet in that they are taken aback in that mainstream pirating and the growth of social fads. (For fad vs. Tend see http://www.Wisegeek.Org/what-is-the-difference-between-a-fad-and-a-trend.Htm#did-you-know ) The consistent downloading of music from youtube, has led to the near-death of the CD, and an extreme rise in legal dispute and a massive loss in profit to both record companies and the musicians themselves. While neither musicians and the companies themselves are as honorable or talented as those of years prior, it is still an important social order that is being uprooted by our change in behavior.

Now, we look at the value of print. The book is dying, and textbook are going too. There is an amount of knowledge on the internet which is diluted by half-truths and lies, whereas the print industry was FORCED to be more selective due to the price of printing and need for circulation. While this also opens the doors for the internet to prove what we thought of as wrong to be true, and what was true to be wrong, it still doesn't prove us to be any more right in our limitation of what we use to get these facts.

Another fact is that some day, we will have to face the issue of the internet being taxed, and its usage charged.

  • Yes, the Internet has adversely affected mankind.

While the Internet is a valuable tool that has revolutionized communication and the sharing of knowledge, it has diminished the need and value for human interaction and demolished the variety of communicative tools, musical tools, and visual tools what took over decades to develop, essentially halting technological advancement. In addition to stifling the human to human experience, it has opened the door to laziness. Instead of memorizing the periodic table, or information about a certain subject, the information can continually be found via search engine, so children of the information age have no need to remember valuable information.

  • No it is wrong the internet does not change the mankind

It is because the man has been using the internet in the wrong ways like watching useless videos and chatting with the friends just wasting a time at that time they can do any work with the help of internet but they are not doing so.
