  • Yes Obama has changed how we are viewed abroad.

President Obama has done a lot to change the view of America abroad. After George W. Bush left office we had been ineffectively tracking Osama Bin Laden for years. President Obama made tracking down Osama Bin Laden a top priority for intelligence agencies so that they had the resources they needed to successfully bring Osama Bin Laden to justice.

  • Promoted rational discussion.

By providing a rational point of view and respecting the rest of the world, Obama has changed the view, that the world has of the U.S., for the better. It is a great improvement over the religious and war-mongering views of the previous administrations. Speaking truth to friends and foes always solidifies ones position.

  • Yes, for the better.

I think President Obama made positive steps in not only proving that the freedoms and continuing efforts to fight prejudice and injustice, were not just American rhetoric. Over the course of his first years in office, he made it clear that his administration was less gung-ho than the previous one, and had a strong interest in cultivating diplomatic relations, both long standing and newly emerging.

  • I think so!

President Barack Obama is African American, and I believe that he has changed how the world views the United States. In most European and European descent countries, they would not have elected an African American to be their president. We show the world that we are the melting pot, and accept people who are different from us!
