Has SCOTUS become more powerful than the framers intended?

Asked by: Throwback
  • They have seized power not theirs.

The framers of America's constitution were very wary of the judiciary. Their are many written accounts from them discussing their fear, and how best to avoid a runaway court. The judicial branch of the U.S. government was developed as the weakest of the three. Ironically, the branch now the weakest, the legislative, was intended to be the strongest.
