Yes, technology has effected the obesity rate in America, because people spend more time sitting down. People do not have to bake a loaf of bread every two days. Instead, they can just buy a loaf of bread. This is true at work as well. Researching in a library has been replaced by sitting on the internet. We are fatter and lazier.
Technology has not effected the obesity rate in America. The number one issue with eating right in America is how crazy expensive it is to do so. If you go to a store and try to buy all healthy foods and diet foods it is twice as much as buying junk food.
