  • Sure

The terrorists are being taken down by the day. With policy and restrictions on certain supplies into Iran, and terrorists attacks decreasing, our world is becoming safer and simpler without these radical elements. With our negotiations with Russia and other countries in the positive despite the war on terror, it is safe to say that the war on terror has made the world safer.

  • I Believe So

Since the WoT, the organization of terrorists cells has been severely disrupted, and they've lost breathing room to plot and organize major attacks such as Sept. 11th. I disagree with others saying that Syria and Georgia were somehow made less stable because of intervention, since the WoT had little to do with them. They are are unstable because of their own internal factors, not because of the WoT.

  • Absolutley

The terrorists are being taken down by the day. With our negotiations with Russia and other countries in the positive despite the war on terror, it is safe to say that the war on terror has made the world safer.

  • Without a doubt

Every day, our drones and troops take out terrorists who pose a threat to America, to freedom, and to democracy. Since 9/11, we have killed some of the most infamous terrorists in the world. Bin Laden anyone? We must continue the war on terror and eliminate every last terrorist/terrorist organization. Look at the statistics; already the number of terrorist attacks are decreasing, and many high-profile terrorists are dead, leaving only amateurs to fill the void. Over time, terrorism will become so weak, that we will not have to worry, but to make that a reality, we must ruthlessly eradicate all terrorists that pose a threat.

  • It Has Not!

Because instead of sending American soldiers to their deaths trying to kill terrorists, we should keep them in america to protect our people. Plus we kill so many innocents with our stupid drones, that we start inspiring families and children to want to kill us because now we are the bad guys in their eyes

  • NO, it is promoting terrorism instead

It has resulted in fierce voilation of human rights in various mid eastern countries so the war on terror is the source of terror in the mid eastern countries where US DRONE ATTACKS,Open fires, bombings or target killing operations have killed so many innocent people. So the question here is, arent the US spreading terrorism instead of fighting against it?

  • War on Terrorism

I believe that the War on Terrorism has not made the US a safer place because we aren't protecting ourselves when we are sending troops to execute terrorist, that may not even be a threat to us. Yes, killing terrorist is good but not if they aren't posing any threat to us.

  • No!

Simply by looking at the facts we see that the Middle East and many other countries, from Syria to Georgia, are in far greater turmoil than they were before. More and more freedoms are being done away with in the US under the guise of national security. there is an economic crash happening all over the world, from Greece to the US itself. The war on terror has only fueled terrorists all over the world. The question that is beginning to internationally surface as seen from the distrust and anger of the countries we once counted as our closest allies because of our actions is: Is terrorism a two-way street?

  • Absolutely not

The war on terror has made nothing safer. Instead it has added to unrest in the middle east, distrust of the United States by her allies, and a general feeling of disarray and danger. Many of the regulations enacted during the War on Terror, such as the Patriot Act have added unnecessary hassle to our lives, and in general we are not at all safer.

  • Not particularly

The terrorist groups being targeted knew they were being watched before this began and have always had this hanging over their heads. As satisfying as seeing Bin Laden get killed was, it's actions like that and running around the planet blowing up whatever we don't like haven't really damaged the groups significantly and made a lot of countries angry at us.

  • NO, the war on terror has not made the world safer.

The war on terror has not made the world safer. The meddlesome approach of US foreign policy has led to inflamed emotions for all parties, blow back against our citizens and property, and feelings of hatred and resentment towards the United States. We need to leave the rest of the world alone.
