Have Black Americans become their own worst enemy?

Asked by: JonathanDJ
  • I agree with this

Society, especially the black portion, focuses around past racism and assumes that they are still the victim of intense bigotry. This causes paranoia, inferiority complexes, laziness, etc. Due to the past, people are very careful not to look down upon negroes. I think that the black people who are poor criminals tend to produce children that become the same, because they are uneducated morally and scholastically.

  • All this nonsense started under that racist Wilson

He started the whole credit system (materialistic) to keep blacks under a system of materialism. It's a system that has destroyed the black community to its core. Credit card debt is a big problem in many black neighborhoods. Back before the credit system, all races were responsible with money. The credit system has created many ghettos towards blacks. And I don't single them out. The food stamp program was done to keep Hispanics and other immigrant groups dumb and dependent.

  • Aggressive Rights Groups.

People like Martin Luther sought equally for all people peacefully. Black rights groups today are far from peaceful. Groups like the NAACP are aggressive, seeking supremacy above equally. The group will even sue people for using Free Speech because it's "offensive to black people."

Groups like them have no regards for the rights of any other race, especially white people. The problem is that black people blindly stick by these groups religiously, allowing the group's evils to define Black people. The aggressive disregard for other race's rights, and the excessive over-sensitive nature their groups and many of them have adopted has set up Black Relations back almost a century.

  • You all hate me cause I'm black!

When you look and act like a normal black man or women that is trying to contribute to the community that man or women will be treated as such by the majority of the community.

If on the other hand you look and act like an uneducated gang banging thug you will be treated as such by the cops and most everyone else.

Further, if you equate yourself with any kind of person no matter how f/u that person is just because you are the same color then you are a raciest.

It would be better to just equate yourself with the human race. It doesn’t matter what color the kettle is. What does matter is what inside cooking.

Wise up. Break the slave mentality. Break the chains. Freedom at last.

  • Blacks ARE Their Own Worst Enemy!

This is my own take of the partial reasoning of blacks as their own worst enemy. From the things I've observed AND reseached, is because of blacks have ALWAYS hated, despised, and even were jealous of other blacks in Africa BEFORE slavery. So after blacks were relocated to other parts of the world, they were put into segregated neighborhoods that restricted them both opportunites, and resources that other races were given, which then fueled even more anger. So since blacks cannot, and/or will not rebel against whites in anyway, shape, or form, that just adds fuel to the flames, and therefore blacks direct their amped anger and, hatred towards other blacks.

  • Excuses, blame, more excuses

You can blame the lack of money/lack of male role models/discrimination until you're blue in the face.

But the truth is that blacks have embraced a victim mentality from the racial hucksters (you know their names) that stand to profit from it.

Making excuses like "poverty" and "bad schools" or blaming slavery/Jim Crow are just convenient tools to ignore the real problem: black unwillingness to change themselves for the better.

  • Poverty is to blame

Blacks are a victim of poverty. When you are poor and uneducated, you are likely to do drugs, be physically violent, go to jail, die early, and drop out of school. This trend is observed across all races at equal rates.

If you want to end the dire straights of Blacks in America, fight poverty.

  • No. Definitely not.

Look, the problems aren't that one race is better or worse. It's a problem of money. Black people when they were freed from slavery, or when they escaped earlier or whatever, were discriminated against. They got worse educations and houses, and for mutual protection they moved into urban communities, and the only places they could afford were the cheapest, same with almost all of them, and because of that, their schools got little funding, and even after the end of the civil rights movement, their education was terribly funded, because the community itself was poor. So because they started poor, and only could live in poor areas, they remained poor.

  • No,black americans have not become their own worst enemy.

No,black americans have not become their own worst enemy.Black americans are simply reacting to how they have always been treated and they expect to be treated badly no matter how much they achieve. This may explain that they may seem unmotivated at times when they don't seem to be doing their best.
