Have you watched the documentary 'Hunted' about the treatment of human rights in Russia? Is there any way to stop this abuse from happening?

  • I honestly feel very hopeless about the situation...

It is not exactly possible for any other country to step in and tell Russia how to run the country; much as we would like to. The Russian government can ignore any form of protest from other countries. Also, the majority of Russians are in full support of this propaganda law. This law also means that there are many restrictions on the protests that gay Russians can perform; in effect, they are silenced. And when they are silenced, these vigilante groups can target gay people, and the government can turn a blind eye

  • Unfortunately we can not do anything.

Macho-ism and religion are still overwhelming while compassion and reason are nowhere to be found. So we can just wait for level of education and feminism to get in higher numbers so we can try to change the law expressing our opinion on the streets in great numbers. Russia is place where women and alcohol are highly abused.

Wait, which question are we answering?

The first is just a general point to help you understand the question; many people are unaware of the scale of the human rights abuses that happen in Russia currently. Watching it would be advisable if you want to comment (don't watch it if you are under 18; it is an horrifically disturbing documentary that shows the very worst of human nature)

Abuse? Are you referring to "gay rights" or something else? Because based off the picture used, I'm guessing it's the former. A "propaganda law" isn't a horrific human rights abuse.

Very poorly set up question.
