Homosexuality: Does homosexuality check out on religious grounds?

  • Homosexuality is a sin like any other, people are all inherently sinful

There is no one who is not sinful. No matter the sin, we all commit a few. No sin is any different from another, as murder is like theft or adultery. We often decide that our own sins are less bad or otherwise, because they are what we do. For example, over-eating is a sin, yet people who overeat don't tend to feel this way. Yet one will easily pass judgment on another for homosexuality, as though their sins are unforgivable. Homosexuality is a sin like any other.

  • Yes, because we do not live in the Old World, the New Testament differs.

Homosexuality is always an issue with religious zealots, and it really shouldn't be. If it were as serious as they claim it is, then they should be killing homosexuals, because the old testament directs them to, if they wish to remain pure themselves. But we do not live in the old world, and therefore shouldn't be putting anyone to death, nor should you be judging or hating against homosexuals at all, for that is the job of the Father, and not his charges, who are to pray for the salvation of those considered sinners, not sit in the throne of the Father and judge.

  • Bible Says No

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. This is the
verse from the Bible, found in Leviticus 20:13,that gives God's commands about homosexuality.
    It's wrong.
