  • There's no saying you support free speech but...

    You either support free speech or you don't. There's no "but." That obviously shows you only support so called "free speech" if you agree with it. So if you found a protest against gay marriage offensive, you'd want that censored- that is NOT free speech and is DEFINITELY not tolerant. Tolerance is putting up with things you DON'T like. Sure, I'd find a protest against interracial marriage or a racist protest altogether offensive but I would never go out of my way and try to ban the protest- they have a right to express themselves just as I do. If I tried to censor their speech, I'D be the bigot in that situation- not them! Therefore, you can't say you support free speech but... You either do or you don't. You can't have it both ways!
