Yes, if the Thunder has Russell Westbrook they could still beat the Spurs. Russell Westbrook is one of the most athletic point guards in the NBA today. Although the Spurs have a stout defense, their guards would not be able to stay in front of Russell Westbrook. Russell would be able to penetrate the paint seemingly at will, and then would have countless options to either take the shot himself, or kick the ball out to highly efficient three point shooters such as Kevin Martin and Kevin Durant. Although the Spurs have Tony Parker to counter Westbrook, Parker is not quick enough or athletic enough to contain the young guard which would lead to a Thunder series win.
Thunder moves so fast he's like lightning he also is overpowered and can beat the Spurs in one shot. GG. In competitive Starcraft, Russell Westbrook played against Team Solomid and owned them by using Miss Fortune while their ADC was using Kog'Maw. He is also capable of carrying a team of noobs simply by farming CS.
The dynamic duo of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant is almost to the level of Lebron James and Dwayne wade. Coming from a bulls fan. Russell Westbrook "granted he has not had the best shooting year and should consider passing more" has improved his game tremendously. Watch out of OKC anyway because Durant is playing phenomenal
The thunder would have no one to match up with the spurs shooting. Also they don't have anyone to stop tim duncan. Kevin Durant can get locked down against the spurs. Russel Westbrook would also get locked down because he wouldnt be able to do anything excpet shoot? Last year, the thunder had James Harden and now that they dont, they would get blown away.
