International adoption: Does adoption solve problems of international adoption?

  • We Live in a Global Community Even Where Adoption is Concerned

    With modern transportation and communication technologies, the world is getting smaller and smaller and we live more and more in a global community rather than isolated nations. Because of this, international adoption is becoming more widespread and acceptable, as it should be. Children need a positive, stable environment for optimal development, and it should be provided for them regardless of the location of that environment. International adoption is good for the children and good for the families that seek those children, so everyone wins.

    Adoption whether it is international or national has the purpose solving the problem of getting children into homes. It does not matter if child is in the United States or Europe. Celebrities have made a case out of adopting international children. Problems with international and national adoption is the same.
