Intervention to prevent failed states: Should the USA work together with the UN to prevent the collapse of third-world states?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • The USA shoud not work together with the UN to prevent the collapse of third-world states.

Nation building is not the responsibility of the United States. We have enough problems within our own boards to deal with to start trying to develop other states. Failed third world countries usually have problems which foreign intervention can't solve, such as tribal conflict. The UN and aid organizations should do this work alone.

  • No, I do not believe that the USA should work together with the UN to prevent the collapse of third-world states.

I do not believe that the USA should work together with the UN to prevent the collapse of third-world states, because i don't think the USA should be involved in all these global issues when it hasn't taken care of its own personal issues. The USA has to many issues within itself to be concerned with any other countries issues at the moment.
