  • It really depends.

No matter how good a government system is, if the people in it are corrupt or evil, can a good system make evil people good? Certainly not. This simple analogy should stop this endless debate. Good people in a bad system will make the system good because the system is lifeless, under the dictate of the people. In the same vein, whether a country is parliamentary or presidential is a no assurance of its progress.

  • Presidential government ?

I believe that presidential is better, I don't know much though. I'm trying to see the differences and would like to see the different views everyone has. I know that a prime minister is elected from the house of commons (?) and that he represents both the executive and legislative branch ( seems like a bit too much power from me ). I think the presidential form is better for its checks and balances and how the voting is within the power of the people.

  • Parliamentary system gives more consideration.

As an Australian, I believe that the Parliamentary system is much better, and I'm not being biased!! This system takes much more into consideration of the people and there isn't as much lobby or corporation interaction within the government or within elections.
Contrary to what others say, the Prime Minister is not elected by the government, they are elected by the people through fair and frequent elections.
Because ministers are elected directly by the people, the views of the people are much more considered within the government, however the American government seems to be controlled by the rich and wealthy lobbyists and corporations.
