  • Yes it is.

First I want to say that in order to be a "slut" other people have to let you. Unless you are a rapist. As long as your not lying about anything and your intentions are clear (I imagine this to be rare) than perhaps the argument could be made that it takes two to Tango, so the "slut" is not solely to blame. That being said people have come a long way. We have found what is most likely to lead to happiness. Ask yourself why someone want to have sex with a lot of people. Now ask yourself why someone would want to have sex with someone they love. It shouldn't be difficult to figure out.

  • Being a "Slut" has consequences.

The definition of a slut is a morally-depraved, promiscuous woman who irresponsibly has sex with anyone with taking into consideration the consequences of their actions. Not just for them but for the people they hurt around them. The male equivalent is "Man-whore". Being a slut is also one of the reasons for the rise of STDs and the decline of fidelity in the country as there are women who cheat on their lovers with others because they are "bored" of them.

The feminist movement of this day and age is encouraging our female youths to be like this because it shows that they are "Strong independent women." THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO DO THAT WITHOUT WHORING YOURSELF AROUND! Then again, common sense barely has any meaning left in this world.

  • "Slut" is a derogatory term.

The term "slut" has a derogatory connotation. People do not think of people labeled as a "slut" in a positive way. It is, therefore, by association a bad thing. Part of being a respectable woman is to be able to exercise discretion. In general, a slut is a girl without much discretion.

  • Being a slut is the very embodiment of insecurity.

Being a slut is the very embodiment of insecurity, whether you realise it or not. A slut excessively uses his/her sexuality to attract partners, and quantifies his/her worth by the number of partners or the number of people that find them sexually attractive. As a result, usually fail to be selective in the people they sleep with. They play to the very lowest form of human desire: carnality. This shows a pronouced insecurity over their personality and attractiveness , Hence, why sluts wear clothing that show more skin which underscore their sexual traits (such as breasts, rear, etc), in order to garner attention by exploiting the carnal desire of their potential partners. Therefore, being a slut is indeed a bad thing; it is the hallmark of a person who is insecure.

  • Many different reasons.

Sluts are less likely to find a long term partner they don't cheat on, they're likely to catch a STI. I can back these up with people I know, including my own mother who used to be one and a rapist by the name of Rachael Wilder, a 16 year old in Michigan.
You get so caught up in that stuff that you could traumatize someone when it becomes trivial to you. Sex is meant to be something intimate. Psychology (the science, like neuropsychology) proves this.

  • It is wrong being a faithless whore,

Yes it is wrong being a whore, faithlessness
    can cause upset and division
but in defense of women who are whores,
the world is already divided enough so it doesn't matter.

The earths moral compass is all over the shop

People are alien as fuck and don't know that their human
any more, preferably a clingon from deep space nine.

  • There are no reasons anyone should be called a slut, whore, ect.

Anyone can have sex with whomever they wish to have sex with. It's a personal choice, and something society should stop sticking their nose in. No one, man nor woman, should be called a slut, whore, skank, or any other derogatory term no matter what their moral standards are, that's just being respecful and loving of one another (which is the TRUE moral thing to do). Just because a woman is having sex does not mean she'll get pregnant or have STI/STD, hence why we have contraception and CONDOMS both for men and women. Additionally, men cheat just as much if not more than women do, so why don't we have a label for them? These double standards are so ignorant.

  • It's a label assigned to women who are confident in their sexuality and proud of the freedom to express it.

At it's core, this is a social issue not a legal one. Everyone has their own values and standards but society has rules and standards in place to influence behaviors on a large scale. A slut is a female who is aware of these mental barriers but breaks through with disregard to the consequences. Since it's not illegal, the only consequence is being exiled and ridiculed. Basically, a slut utilizes freedom that others wish to take away.

  • Why the double standard?

Guys often show sleeping around as a good thing and tend to be praised for it, but if a girl decides to sleep around, she's a slut. LIKE WHAT?! And okay okay, I get it. Not everyone thinks of it like that. But really, it's her body and her choice, whether she wants to risk getting an STI or being, and I quote, a "morally-depraved, promiscuous woman" is absolutely her choice. She wants to do it, then she wants to do it. I don't see why this is such a problem, especially since in America, freedom is such a big word. The second a girl decides she wants to do something with her life, forget freedom, because she's being a slut, right?

  • Use common sense

Being a "slut" means you sleep and have sexual intercourse or "sex" with many different men. This could be whether you or in a relationship or not. Either way you are still having "sex" with multiple men. This should not be encouraged as many of these "feminists" do. Ask yourself why you wish to have sex with men other than your significant other. Maybe if you find the source of the problem you can fix it.

  • Of course not. It's a personal choice. It's not against the law. Please respect it!

Don't you want to be around people who have experience and know what they are doing? As a service example: Consider that you need your car repaired, or your house fixed, or an organ transplant. Wouldn't you go to someone who has 'done it before' or someone who has never 'done it before'? Experience and knowledge is what we strive for. It helps us to figure out what we really want because of the knowledge and experience we have. Also consider this: Some people, somewhere decided what is best for you and I. They don't know us or our situation. Who are they to decide what's best? What are their credentials and quite frankly, are they good enough for us?

  • Not at all.

Being called a "slut" is a very rude term for someone sleeping around. But what's wrong with that? Do women not have the right to sleep with whomever they'd like without being automatically labeled on and hated on for it? It's ridiculous how much slut shaming still goes on today. Be a slut, do whatever you want.
