When Chick-fil-A took a political stand on gay rights, many called for a boycott. However, this issue is incredibly divisive (and was more so at the time), and caused its loyal customers who agreed with CFA's stance to stand by them. It no doubt brought in new customers as well. So while the boycott may have caused some damage to their profit, ultimately, CFA is still churning out chicken.
Yes, Chick-Fil-A is still a popular eatery. Lots of people still go to Chick-Fil-A and are upset that they're closed on Sundays because they want to eat there everyday. While they were boycotted for awhile because they spoke out against gay rights, everyone seems to have moved on and are open to eating there again.
Out of personal and societal experience, Chick-fil-A is still the go-to eatery when it comes to anything chicken related. The level of quality one gets (or seems to get) out of Chick-fil-A sandwiches is unmatched by other fast-food chains, and can be attributed to Chick-fil-A's focus on providing chicken-based products. Living in a region where there is only one local Chick-fil-A, it is seen as a fast-food chain of a much higher quality than other chains, such as McDonald's or Burger King. Chick-fil-A maintains its popularity for the quality of its chicken sandwiches, although it sometimes suffers when it voices its typically right-wing opinions.
Check-fil-A is most definitely a popular eatery. In fact, it is about the most popular eatery in the United States. To the dismay of many with left-leaning political tendencies, the restaurant chain continues to rise above the rest and bring in customers at an unrelenting pace. Perhaps it's holistic and faith-based structure is the biggest reason.
All I know about this slop house is the owners hatred for the lgbt community. Anyone that eats there knowingly is sub human and takes up valuable space on this planet that could be put to better use. No matter how tasty the slop is its alignment with the religious right means I will never step one foot inside the door and shame on those that do....
