Child labour must be stopped kids are dying and working more than any one should have to it is not fair most of them get payed less then a candy bar a week and with that money the usually have to pay the “rent”. What the “rent” is it is a small house that you will have to pay off.
What is the rent the rent is the rent the owners of tobacco farms and other kinds of farms and crops usually give people a seten amount of money let's say 20$ so they make their rent 20.10$ what that insures is that even if they try to leave they will be stuck there because they can not pay their rent.

  • Stop child labor

When people work on tobacco farms they get sick. They vomit , they get nauseous, they get terrible headaches, and its hard for them. This is not right. Kids should be getting the education they need. Instead they have to get money and to do that they need to work. The government could help with this.

  • Stop Child Labor!

Child labor is WRONG. They are being stripped of education, and that is unfair. They risk their lives for working, and they barely make any money at all! Kids work to harvest gold, tobacco, fish, nuts, and many more products. In fact, people you know who smoke could be making a child work 12 hours straight! Imagine not going to school. They you would not be able to get the job of your dreams. Kids who harvest tobacco get Nicotine Poisoning. It is very sad.

  • Child labor should be banned

Child labor is one of the major obstacles that prevent the children from getting a proper education. The children whom like to have money, they will find the option doing job for getting more money, which lead them to forget their education. Finally, we all know that the result will be extreme poverty in developing countries.

  • Child labour does not have to exist

It ruins our generation because they are not allowed to go to school thay dont have the right of having education anymore and this ruins our generation because a kid of 4 is an example in the place of going to school he goes out in the sun and he works or in the industrials and thet they are dangerous because they use dangerous tools and if they dont handle them properly it will cause death

  • Child Labour is never the answer.

Think of the stores you shop at... Nike? Walmart? Sears? Child labour was used in the making of quite possibly the shirt you are wearing right at this moment.
Children as young as four years are working in factories barely making a useable wage whilst being tortured all the more.
They are stripped of the education, their dignity and their rights as a child. No child should have to work in hot conditions making items for the ungrateful.
    We all deserve a childhood!

  • Child labor is horrible

  • Child Labour is not Bad! It is beneficial for the Countries Growth!

"So banning child labour completely will bear a huge impact on the national economy of a developing country."

Is Child Labour good or bad? There are hundreds of opinions on this topic, widely varying from 'Good!" and 'Bad!'. So what do I think? I think that many people who believe Child Labour is bad do not look at the other side of the equation, as I did. I see that child labour can be extremely beneficial and vital in poor and developing countries. It gives the children an opportunity to earn money for their families and their future. So what are some benefits of Child Labour?

    1. Children can contribute to Family Income

When children work, they help their family and do their part to help for a better future. When the whole family works together, they can escape the troubling truth that is intense poverty in many countries.

    2. Parents can use their Child in a Family Business

When a child is experienced in work, they can then help immensely in a Family Business. Working in a Family Business is a great thing because the child is not cruelly treated by bosses, and can instead earn money side by side with their father or mother.

    3. Working Children can help to reduce Labour Shortage

Labour Shortage is a huge problem in many countries, stalling production of necessities for needy and poor countries. In many countries, Women are not allowed to work outside. If children are allowed to work, they can help increase the productions as well as provide for their families.

Now, I'm not saying that it's ok for children to be abused in jobs and worked to the limit for hardly a dollar, but I believe that if a child is not abused and paid at least minimum wage, I think Child Labour is a beneficial tool to bring the Industrial Revolution to poorer countries.

  • It's putting little kids in risk of getting sick and its bad for them to work that hard at such a young age

It bad because no one wants to see there kids hurt or even killed by like a big rock falling on them no one no one no one wants to see that so try to stop this because like i said its bad for the kids and your just hurting them and i don't think anyone should thing its a good thing

  • Let child labor be.

There are poor families that can't afford to not have their childs working, if it's a 6 people family, and only the dad works, they would be starving and die. If then the oldest child were to work and bring in money, that would mean that they would maybe have food on the table. People don't die by sewing, it may be bad conditions, but it's driving the countries they work in and their family forward, many children works so their younger brothers and sisters can attend school and get a good education and about 50% that works still go to school. The textile industry is were almost all child workers are found, if they would work for a few dollars there each day, it would save lives. Most factories have gotten much better and many countries are improving and making sure they get improved. An example is Bangladesh, you think the new reporters were to ever report on the good things on it? No, the information we get from new reporters and such is only to make us want to read it. Even UNICEF is not against child labor, they thinks it's good for the child as long as it dosen't interfere with their school attendance. If all the poor countries using child labor would act as the western countries, they would all starve, prices on things would skyrocket, people would die, disease would take over everything, and this would effect us aswell as it would increase our prices a lot aswell, thats what you want? To inflict a financial crisis, the death of millions, because kids are working for a brighter future and life for their nation? I don't say 16 hours work days for children is good, but as long as that means they don't starve, and die, it's something.

  • Child labor or child prostitution?

Many of you don't understand that child labor happens primarily in poor countries. These children must work to eat, to support their families, and possible save up to go to school. If you take away child labor, you place the children in farms and in the black market for prostitution.

Ending Child labor does not magically put them is schools, it does not magically put food on the table, and it typically can make there life worse off. Yes, it is something no one wants, but taking it away does not fix their situation.

  • Child labor is not exploitation

Should it be illegal for you to ask your kids to take the trash out or vacuum a room?

No. However, we also pay people to do those things when they do them in larger quantities. So, whether it's acceptable is a matter of degree and safety. It's fine when your 10-year old helps vacuum, but not so much when they replace a fuse or the clean gutters - even if those can be quickly, they can be hazardous.

Should children be allowed to work in Bangladesh? Yes.
Should they be allowed to work 12 hour shifts? Probably not.
Should they subjected to unsafe working conditions? No, but who should be?

The alternative to child labor is not a first-class western education.

  • Child Labor creates more opportunity

Laws against child labor are unfair and unruly. Why is it fair that you, in suburbia, well off enough to feed your family with one working parent, get to make laws for the poorest of poor? In some families, in order to feed every mouth every night, it is essential that children bring in a paycheck as well. Is it that you love a poor man's child more than him? No, in fact, that man loves his child so much he trusts them to help feed each other. Some might argue that it teaches children the importance of working and earning money. When and how else could a child learn work ethic but through working to help the family? To ban a child from working to help save his or her family from starvation isn't fair to that family, especially when you sit at home, so we'll off and not understanding of these situations. As stated by Lindsay Melnick, "...Impoverished households who cannot meet their basic needs may depend on the income of their children for survival."Farmworker families are so poor that their children have to work to support them. It’s really an opportunity for them to save money and build their resumes." was another argument by NCC Churches. So are child labor bans really good for the family, what about the economy in which these children are helping?
