Is China a threat to international stability: Is China's economic strength increasing dramatically, and at the peril of the rest of the world?
  • Yes, China is a threat due to their increasing economy, wealth, and technology.

Yes, China is a threat to international stability because they supply all of the products, clothing, supplies, and food to the United States and other countries. Instead of all of the countries trading and dealing products slowly but surely China seems to be the one in charge. China's economy is progressing faster than any other nation due to their wealth and advanced technology, which can be disastrous for the rest of the world due to an indequate economy and poor civilization.

  • If China were to suddenly disappear, there'd be a scramble to make up for all the missing products - but we'd recover.

So is China really a threat to us? Does it really hold power over us? Possibly a little. But, as trading partners, we hold a little power over China too. If China made threats or attacked a country without provocation, and lashed out at the world, threatening domination, then the world has the power to team up and boycott China. It wouldn't be easy, but it proves we, internationally, have power over China.
The bigger question is, is China a threat to it's own people? Absolutely.

  • China is not a threat.

Just because they are stronger than us does not make them a threat. We as America should try harder and educate people better. In China school is very important, as is hard work. This is the main reason that they are succeeding so much. They do need better environmental regulations but they are working on this.
