  • Its absolutely a threat.

When we say India is a democratic country it means that its a country of the people and not some particular community or caste. Communalism on the other hand says the exacr opposite. As a result it focuses on the development of 60% of the population negelcting the minorities. Results are high level of frustration which when released into the world causes loss of life as well as property of both the sides. And then the so called devlopment of the majorities also goes on stake. The only people who benefit from it are the ones who carry on with vote bank politics, exciting the masses, making them busy and fooling them into hatred while they themselves enjoy the best of the best at the cost of the taxpayers money.

  • It is a violation of our humanity, our democratic faith and the constitution of India.

Broadly speaking, whenever and wherever we discriminate against a person for his/her religion, race, language, caste, color or creed we commit the sin of communal ism. More specifically ,communal ism is understood as an act discrimination against a religious community which usually takes the forms like suppressing its language and culture, depriving it of education of its choice for its children, , of its share in the economic cake, of its dignity, denying it justice and freedom, and pushing it out of the main stream of the country. We are certainly facing communalism which some of our political activity generates for its selfish ends. We have faced it through centuries , and we are facing it even today. Communal ism in whatever form has been harming the social, political, economic and moral fabric of our society. Under the garb of communal ism flourishes injustice, cynicism, corruption, lawlessness, inefficiency, disintegration of our institutions crime, rape and murder, leading to making our lives insecure and meaning less.

  • Practicing communal ism violates our constitution.

When we discriminate against persons for their religion ,race, caste or creed , you commit the sin of communal ism. This has happened in our country for centuries and this is happening in one form or the other even today. Those who deny it have to check their credentials. It is certainly dangerous for the social ,political and economic fabric of our society.

  • Yes, it is.

Nowadays, people are discriminated on the basis of their race, color and creed which is not fair. In the Indian society, each and every citizen of India is equal and nobody belongs to the lower caste nor to the upper class. If people are discriminated on the basis of cast, creed and race, they will feel very hurt. Everyone has his own right to survive in his style in the society if it does not violate any rules of the Constitution. If they do not have money, that does not mean that they are aught to be punished. If illiterates are taught and if we tell them the reason and the happenings of the world which may provoke them may raise the level of patience and may lead to many disasters.

  • Immune communalism through fraternity

India is diverse country which is the thing we can only be proud of but not happy of,because this communalism has hindered development of India at every stage.
This communalism has been a pot of gold for most of the politicians and a matter of prestige for
common people. This has just intensified ego and prestige problems and there is just no use of it.

  • It cannot be a benefit

Present India needs 'unity in diversity' more than 'melting pot of cultures' . The changing of the world depends upon each individual changing himself . But if each individual confines himself to his or her own religion , the nation cannot develop . Though communalism may benefit us in the long run , present development is very important for India and it's applifment

  • Communalism is a problem.

I think that this issue in general is a threat not only to the society of those in India, but to those people who are in the rest of the world. We as a species are bound to want individualism, so there is no place in our lives for communalism.

  • It is possible.

It is possible that it may be a threat to Indian society. From what I gather, this concept centers around the community rather than the individual, and benefits the individuals of that society. Being that India is such a melting pot of cultures and religions, it may come down to communities associating and helping each other by race, culture, or religion and minorities may not benefit.

  • Communalism One Way to Avoid Poverty

Communalism is one way to avoid abject poverty that is a huge problem in India. People need to do what it takes to survive and improve the quality of life in the world's largest democracy. As such, communalism is one way to solve India's problems and shouldn't be a threat to Indian society.

  • Communalism: The last best hope.

The strategy of the colonists was to disrupt our traditional communities and replace it with their own: a global community consisting of no real, meaningful dependence or connections but rather a conglomeration of alienated units designed to produce wealth for some and guaranteed suffering for nearly all. The new oligopoly is continuing this strategy and it must be stopped.

  • It would be a benefit.

Communalism will help Indian society and help India become more of a developed country than it is right now. If they focus more on individuals then the country will not grow as quickly as it needs to. It's a matter of picking and choosing battles and each has its own pros and cons either way, but I think that in the long run communalism will be more beneficial to India.
