  • It's your opinion of course.

I have recently come to the conclusion that since in an all-around communist society the wealthy have to give up their wealth and spread it with the rest of society, isn't that an excuse for jealousy towards the rich from the poor? Communism is just a backwards idea that would never work completely as well as successfully, or at least it hopefully will never happen successfully. The less wealthy people have to deal with the fact that they haven't been as successful as the wealthy. They all had their chances to succeed no matter what.

  • Principle of KARMA

In my opinion, those who are wealthy are because of their work... No one gives a penny for nothing... Furthermore the billionaires around the world didn't make money by any unfair means such as robbery or dacoity... Those who are poor around the world are because of their incapability to work. They are burden to this fast growing competitive world. The most they can do is blame others for their miserable condition. They are actually envious of the rich industrialists and blame them for exploitation.. What everybody can see is the wealth they possess but not the hard labour that brought them such a fortune... There is a common saying, "everyone can see a duck swimming swiftly but does not understand the hard work it performs while paddling rapidly."

  • It looks good on paper.

In theory, it's meant to make the most efficient use of a country's resources (maximizing productivity and minimizing or outright eliminating poverty). In practice, human nature being what it is, it always accomplishes the complete opposite. Just look at how China experienced over 30 years of rapid economic growth immediately after Xiaoping abandoned Communism in favour of a "socialist market economy."

The only people I see advocating these kinds of socialist systems anymore are those who want more welfare than they're receiving without having to work for it.

  • To a certain extent

Often supporters of communism, don't want to help themselves or believe the lies of charismatic individuals who use information as a control tool. Communism is based on jealousy and fear, with misinformation, like a con job. It has also killed the most people out of any form of ideology ever in human history. Communists are people who believe lies and are unable to see the reality of what communism is, a moral-less monster of a con and brutal murderer of children. Jealousy often drives some to murder.

  • Undoubtedly so, unfortunately.

The original Leninist Faction of Russia, the Bolsheviks, rose to power because they were tired of a government ruled by the rich. Tsar Nicholas II decreed that the peasants would be put to work on lands they had to pay for and only got a meagre cut of the lands, while the rich profited greatly from the hard labor of the vagabonds and hermits. They were obviously jealous of the vast riches of the wealthy and wanted the wealthy to be just like them or vice versa, be just like the wealthy. When the Bolsheviks raided the Winter Palace and seized the Tsar and overthrew him, the Red Army was formed from mostly peasants and unorganized existing militias. They took thousands upon millions of dollars of jewelry, artwork, and even ripped up the gilded sections of the walls and tried to sell them on the street. The White Army then rose up against the Red Army, starting the Russian Civil War. They rose up specifically for the purpose that the Red Army was jealous of the riches of the wealthy and tried to establish a Proletarian Dictatorship for the means of taking the money from the rich and giving it all to the poor. This proves that, in the Leninism of , much different from Stalinism, is a idealism of jealous poor taking as much as they can from the rich and redistributing it for their own means.

  • That's an unwarranted claim

In examining the root of communism, we clearly see that Marxist ideals do not stem from jealousy. From the very beginning, Precariot19 seems to be looking at communism from a belittling standpoint. Granted, no country has ever achieved total communism, we should look at it from a more objective standpoint. The original authors of communism were not seeking to manipulate society out of contempt for the upper class, rather, they believed that communism would be a machine to drive every citizen to prosperity and a country to full efficiency.

  • Emotion! I love emotion.

This is just a petty attempt at hiding away actual discourse and debate on an issue by calling anyone who is communist, anyone who has any serious advocacy for a strong socialist state, emotional. It is childish and hinders democracy. Communist parties in Europe and around the world are growing, are functioning well, and simply calling them "justifying jealousy" is ridiculous. It'll lead to the response that "Capitalism is a pathetic excuse for greed".

  • Weak psycho-analyzation present

Presenting "communism" as something abstractly separated from its specific incarnations (Marxism, council-communism, etc.) is the first problem in the question. The second (and more damaging) arises through lack of consideration for the multiplicity of factors which go into affirming/negating a given politico-economic position and unwarranted affirmation of weak psycho-analyzation. Nac

  • Everyone knows that communism is a serious subject.

If one was to say that a communist is just jealous of us, they are asking for nothing but trouble. Communism is a form of government, and to say such an insult could cause incredible turmoil. Although there aren't many countries that are communist, they take their reputation very seriously, after all, like us Americans, they do what they think is right.

  • More Often It's Guilt and Self-Righteousness. Rich and middle-class communists have no reason to be jealous.

No, it's not a pathetic excuse for jealousy. But it still isn't good. It's a political ideology that says "let's make everyone equal" at least as an end goal. In practice the only communist regime that paid everyone equally was Pol Pot's Cambodia (since they did away with money). Most of the big communist writers were actually middle class or rich or in some way pretty well off so no the motivation typically wasn't jealousy, it's guilt coupled with self-righteousness a sort of "I'm better because I care about the poor" a sentiment that is helpful and not self-righteousness if you're actually thoughtful about the real things you could do to help the poor rather than just trumpeting an ideology.
