Is Egypt right to implement elements of Sharia law?

  • Egypt should not implement Sharia law.

For years, many civilizations have bounced around various forms of law codes. Sharia law was an important mainstay of Islamic law, but should not be used today. It was written way too long ago, and the often archaic laws could create dangerous situations for women and less fortunate people, like the disabled.

  • Sharia Law Should Not Be in Egypt

I do not think it is right for Egypt to implement elements of Sharia law because even though there are Muslims in the country, there are also people of different faith backgrounds who should not have to deal with the combination of government and religion. Additionally, it is not fair to women because they are treated very unfairly and that is just not right.
