Is face-to-face interaction on the decline thanks to social media?

  • A major decline.

This new technology has completely changed the way we communicate. It’s changed just about everything about us, altering our very culture; it’s changed the way we engage with one another, the way we market brands and ourselves. To all of us it seems like these applications have been around for quite some time, but they’re still fairly new. We’ve become so wrapped up with new technology that we’ve pretty much forgot how to engage and interact with each other face-to-face. This is a growing fact in the world today that we simply can’t ignore.

Before computers and cell phones, people used to regularly visit each other. These days, it is much more convenient for most to devote time during their day to communicating with friends and family through electronic means than through face-to-face communication. • There is no decline

Face to face interaction is not on a decline due to social media. We have had ways to communicate without face to face interaction before social media and that didn't lead to a decline. The best part about experiencing anything is doing it with a friend or loved one such as going to a movie or a museum. There are things that social media will never be able to touch such as conversations that start remember when we went to....
