  • It leads to unnecessary stress in children and teens that shouldn't even exist

Homework, as stated before, leads to stress in teens and children that they shouldn't have to be going through. If they have too many assignments, it can stress them out and make them afraid that they won't be able to complete it on time. Yes, people may say that they should just do it and then they won't have anything to be stressed about, but it's more than that. It's a task that no one should have to complete because they just came home from a day at school and it will lead to them feeling burnt out.

  • Yes if the quantity is not fixed then it can be a burden to many students.

Many students nowadays are under homework pressure and feel it like a burden. The main reason behind this is the quantity of work assigned to them. Students want to enjoy their school or college life, they want to play, want to spend some time with family and friends. But too much homework adds stress to their lives and make them lazy.

  • I agree, homework is a burden, here's why;

I believe that homework is actually great for students, to a certain point. A ten year old should not have to complete three essays a fifty question math assignment and a lab report in the time span of three days. This is college level stress being applied to someone who is beginning puberty. A twelve year old could handle maybe half of that, most likely less. With the amount of stress that adolescents are put through, trying to be like their parents, trying to fit in, struggling with sexuality, being bullied, sports, making friends, problems at home, etc. They should not have to endure hours of work on a topic that they go over for even more time at school, ask any doctor, they will tell you that an adolescent teen requires eight hours of sleep to function properly. No adolescent gets this amount of sleep due to stress levels, they get none when they have eight assignments due the next day. In grade school homework is ninety percent of your grade, in middle school it is eighty percent, high school is when you are allowed to slack off as long as you understand the subject, and do well on tests. Having class work that isn't done in class is one thing, that reflects the poor choices of the student. However assigning an assignment to a student and not allowing them to do it in class is torture. It adds more stress to students already going under a lot of it, and it deprives students of sleep and/or food.

  • What is the point exactly?

What is the point of doing or having homework? All that hard work put on that sheet of paper with a bunch of uselessness printed on just to be corrected and thrown away afterwards? What a waste of my goddamn time. All that time could've been used to spend time with family or relaxing from torturous school. The brain needs to relax after spending 7-8 hours listening to nonsense in a classroom with four white walls surrounding you and a teacher blurring out uselessness. School is a waste of time, school is a burden.

  • Homework is a burden.

As someone who still is in school,I can tell you that only 2 kids want to be there. After 6 hours of torture in which we have to look at teachers not with respect, but as if they are divine beings,we get homework, wich is ALWAYS the same as last time and doesn't teach you anything.Homework never helped me and never will help me.

  • Homework is worst Idea ever

Not only does homework act like a burden to the average child. It is a burden to the parents for even having to put up with children constantly arguing about Homework. Homework is said to improve academic performance. How can it do that when nearly every child in the world treats it as a pile of shit and does not care about it. Homework is a burden and it will continue to be. It has even broken 1 of my friends family apart. Thanks homework you fucking useless waste of time.

  • Yes, it is burden to student

Because of lots of homework student are only in the mood of completing the work. They cannot be creative. They have to complete lots of work in a day so,they have an habit of coping of others or coping from books. There should me less homework so,they can involve in using their mind for answer. If less homework students can also participate in extra activities so that they can be creative. Like: reading extra books, writing extra things to improve their writing.

  • It is a burden

Teachers give a lot of homework to students due to which they are under an unnecessary pressure of preparing for and exams and completion of homework. Even they do not get time to play outdoor games with their friends due to which their health gets affected. Although homework for students as they help them prepare for exams it is required that teachers give less homework so that students can maintain their health and enjoy!

  • Boy u know what i think

Homework is a burden to students
I personally think that homework is completely idiotic.
School isn't a place to sleep then home is not a place to study.Homework is just one more thing that we stress about in school we shouldn't put more stress in school it gives a bad image of school.WE HAVE 10 MONTHS OF SCHOOL,we should have time to learn and not take our only break of the day(at home) to study and work again!

  • ITS a BURDEN

  • Homework is not a burden for students

If homework is a wastage of time then how are you able to give exams. Homework is only given to students for revising the topics which were taught to them in school. Children can't remember everything which are taught in the classroom, so it is necessary to revise subjects and thus helps in exams. Homework seems to be burden but its not!

  • No homework is not a burden

I am a student of class 7th ,i know some students think that the homework is burden but as a student i think that it is not a burden . It is not a burden , it's a daily practise of what we did in class and it tells that we know or not .

  • Homework is not a burden

Homework keeps students in touch with all taught at school. If students complete their homework on time, they shall be in par with all the concepts taught at school. Projects and assignments encourage students to research on the respective topic which broadens their mindset and IQ level. They are also a source of joy for creative minds.

  • No,homework is not a burden.

No,homework should not be considered a burden.Students need to know that there will always be expectations of them and it is better to start being accountable at a young age than to try to learn the work ethic later in life when bad habits may already have set in for the duration.

  • Homework Not a Burden

No, homework is not a burden, even if students sometimes feel otherwise. Homework is a great tool for reinforcing material taught during the school day that may otherwise be forgotten. Too often, children forget what they have been taught upon getting home, and homework helps to ensure that they do not forget.

  • Homework is NOT a burden

There comes a time for work and for play, but for now, stick to work, so you can play later on in life. People always think homework is dumb and stupid, but think of the benefits it gives you. Work now and you won't have to spend the rest of your life slaving away, whilst your friends that worked are out playing.

  • Home work is not a burden to students

I am now 8th class and according to me homework is not a burden because it helps the students to improve their studies and skills. The moral which suits for this is "practice makes a man perfect"and homework is nothing but practice at home.So practice and the world will call you as perfect man.Why will teacher give you homework just to improve your studies and secure your future. There is no profit for teacher to just tell you read read......And when you will go to home and do homework you will remember it for atleast some days otherwise you will forget 70 percent what teacher has thaugt you .So please dont think homework as a burden and take it in a positive way .

  • Homework is not a burden.

No i don't think so that homework is a burden because as i have seen in my class when our teachers gives us homework then most of the students who do the homework every time they bring good marks and those who not they do bring good marks. Homework is because to revise all the things what we have been taught to us. So i don't think so that homework is a burden. I advise you to do your homework always when ever you get time so that at least you can recognize or remember the things.
