Is Internet access a human right: Is Internet access fundamental in modernity?

  • I believe the Internet is a human right

    The Internet is very fundamental in modernity. With the next generation technology, and many of ours, Internet access is vital in keeping up with mainstream new and knowledge. With the use of smart phones, tablets and personal computers, the Internet allows us to have access to a large amount of information that was not offered to us before. Without Internet access is similar to not giving a child the right to a source of information such as books.

  • Yes, it's hard to get a job other wise.

    As more and more people are on the Internet it becomes increasingly lucrative for businesses to post their job listings online and not in a traditional print for like the local newspaper. Therefore people without access to the Internet are at a huge disadvantage in reference to their ability to find a career.
