While I understand that many people may blame the shut down of Boehner, it seems to me that there is a lot more going on that just this one man's approach to the situation. I don't think it would really be fair to place the blame solely on this one individual.
The shutdown isn't on any more, so it's not really Boehner's fault at this point. Both sides showed shockingly poor ability to compromise in the events leading up to the shutdown and during the shutdown itself, however. Neither party is completely innocent in that matter, and their constituents should remember that when it comes time for the congressmen to seek re-election.
