Is it morally right to keep animals as pets and take them from their habitats?

    I know that some may think that it's not fair, but animals want a good life just like humans do. And through taking them in, most of the time, we're giving them a better life than they could ever have without us. We give them companionship, shelter, warmth, food, and they give us friendship. It is a mutual benefit to us both, and i'm sure if we could ask any house pet, they'd pick to stay with their companion rather than return to the wild.
