Is it possible to prove that nature will act in the future as it does now and in the past?

    Nature is always changing. It is highly unpredictable, and if you add man to the equation, things become even more unpredictable. Therefore it would be impossible to prove that nature will act the same as it has in the past. There are always things that could change. Just as a rainstorm may be stronger or weaker than it was in the past. All of nature changes.

  • Nature is predictable based on well documented and proven events.

    By looking to current and past events, we are able to get insight in possible future events. One event that demonstrates this is the California Firestorms of 2003 and 2007. Based on past weather patterns including past fires, authorities were able to accurately predict not only that fires would occur, but how they would behave as well.
