Is it still racism if you hate everyone equally?

Asked by: themohawkninja
  • It's not racists.

The definition of racism according to google is "prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior." i don't consider my self racists but you can judge me. I think your racists if you racists to a certain group of people. If you make fun of everyone your not racists i am not ungrateful of humanity just i like to make fun of people and take my jokes too far sometimes, i like offensive comedy.

  • Race doesn't Exist.

If you believe it does, you are a racist...

Race is not biological. It is a social construct. There is no gene or cluster of genes common to all blacks or all whites. Were race “real” in the genetic sense, racial classifications for individuals would remain constant across boundaries.

Social constructionism or the social construction of reality (also social concept) is a theory of knowledge in sociology and communication theory that examines the development of jointly constructed understandings of the world that form the basis for shared assumptions about reality.

There is no necessary concordance between biological characteristics and culturally defined groups. On every continent, there are diverse populations that differ in language, economy, and culture. There is no national, religious, linguistic or cultural group or economic class that constitutes a race.

Genetic evidence has undermined the idea of racial divisions of the human species and rendered race obsolete as a biological system of classification. Race therefore should no longer be considered as an objective category, as the term formerly was in expressions like the Caucasian race, the Asian race, the Hispanic race.Instead, if the reference is to a particular inherited physical trait, as skin color or eye shape, that salient feature should be mentioned specifically.
There are times when it is still accurate to talk about race in society. Though race has lost its biological basis, the sociological consequences of historical racial categories persist. For example, it may be appropriate to invoke race to discuss social or historical events shaped by racial categorizations, as slavery, segregation, integration, discrimination, equal employment policy.

But, moving forward, if we are truly going to end racism and discrimination, then we need to start looking at scientific facts instead of jointly constructed assumptions of the world...

There is only one race, the Human Race.

All humans living today belong to a single species, Homo sapiens, and share a common descent. Although there are differences of opinion regarding how and where different human groups diverged or fused to form new ones from a common ancestral group, all living populations in each of the earth's geographic areas have evolved from that ancestral group over the same amount of time. Much of the biological variation among populations involves modest degrees of variation in the frequency of shared traits. Human populations have at times been isolated, but have never genetically diverged enough to produce any biological barriers to mating between members of different populations.

Biological differences between human beings reflect both hereditary factors and the influence of natural and social environments. In most cases, these differences are due to the interaction of both. The degree to which environment or heredity affects any particular trait varies greatly.

There is great genetic diversity within all human populations. Pure races, in the sense of genetically homogenous populations, do not exist in the human species today, nor is there any evidence that they have ever existed in the past.

There are obvious physical differences between populations living in different geographic areas of the world. Some of these differences are strongly inherited and others, such as body size and shape, are strongly influenced by nutrition, way of life, and other aspects of the environment. Genetic differences between populations commonly consist of differences in the frequencies of all inherited traits, including those that are environmentally malleable.

There is no necessary concordance between biological characteristics and culturally defined groups. On every continent, there are diverse populations that differ in language, economy, and culture. There is no national, religious, linguistic or cultural group or economic class that constitutes a race.

In conclusion, if one believes in race as a social construct then one is admitting that they believe in something just because the rest of society believes in it and without evidence of it's existence. This type of preconceived opinion, whether favorable or unfavorable, is by definition a form of prejudice.

Believing people belong to a race because of how they look is racist.

  • It is racist

This is like saying you hate everyone in the world including blacks and whites and Mexicans and all other races... Saying you hate all blacks as white its racist so if you say you hate them all technically your offending all other races to you in the world, and this is racist.

  • If you hate all mankind you are an ungrateful unforgiving human being. Racism and disparity aren't clubs you join for perks. It cheats you.

Racism is when a person picks out a specific group of people known for their physical features and rationalizes why they should act a certain way to these people. There are 6 races considered in the U.S. Let's say you have a hatred against the American Indian/Alaskan Native and in every way you can you try to make their lives miserable. That is racist. But you cannot be a racist by association. We are individual thinkers and not all Black people are racists, not all American Indian ares racists, not all Pacific Islanders are racists and not all White people are racists. In fact most of us tend to get along well, even loving each other. However, hating all people is misanthropy. And hating all people pretty much guarantees a violent difficult life. The way out of misanthropy is through forgiveness and gratefulness.

  • I want to die

In the end it doesn't even matter

  • Yes, If You Don't Judge People as Individuals, You Are a Racist

Racism is hating people because of their race. Racists also believe that
the members of certain groups, whether they are races, religions, or
cultures, tend to have particular characteristics. So if you believe that
all Japanese people are highly intelligent, all Cambodians are beautiful, all
Americans are insensitive, or all Jewish people are pushy, you are a racist. It
doesn’t matter if you have these nutty ideas about every group in the world, if
you do not evaluate people individually, on the basis of their individual ideas
and behavior, you are a racist.

  • It generally still counts

Now, we must look at the individual in this scenario. If they hate everyone for the color of their skin, then yes it is still racism. However if they hate everyone for reasons unrelated to a person's skin color, then I don't believe that it can be considered racism because it isn't race related.

  • Hate is Hate

If you hate someone based on their race it is racism... It doesn't matter if your hate for Indian people is equivalent to your hate of Asian people etc. If you hate someone because of their race it is racism. If you just hate people in general because of other reasons (because you are a pessimist or because you dislike interactions etc) you are not racist per say, you just don't like people.

  • Yes, I hate all people equally.

Because a lot of assholes ruined it for everyone. Why does hate exist? Because it is proliferated by haters. Stop hating. End the cycle now, People that will do good were taught that good is better. Do you agree? People that do bad were not taught anything good. Let us reform America.

  • It is not racist A REAL REASON

If you hate all races equally it doesn't make you a racist because it's just like saying you like them all equally.

Here's what i mean you hate whites 80%, hate blacks 80%, hate asians 80%, you get my point you hate all races the same percentages. That means 20% you like them all equally.

So therefore you are not a racist if you "like or hate" them equally.

So if you said i hate all races equally it's just the same as saying you like all racist equally.

  • It Isn't Racist

It is racist if you love all races more than another what is not racist is if your loving or hating all races so if I hate your race its racist if I love your race and no other than its racist okay can we get it together M'kay M'kay Racism is bad M'kay M'kay Drugs are bad M'kay

  • Its not racist

Its not racist if you hate everyone equally and it doesn't matter about their skin tone if you hate EVERYONE. Get it together people. It is not racist at all if the hate is equal so don't say it is because we hate everyone and not just a skin tone but everybody.

  • There is no "EQUALITY" in racism.

If you are treating everyone EQUALLY, whether negatively or positively, it's not racism. Equality is the antithesis of racism. 31 more words are needed? OK, well then, let's also point out that racism is not about hate but about power. It's the inequity in power that causes racism. Word. Yep.

  • Everyone is equal

If you hate everyone equally, then you don't feel more hatred against one race or group than another. It's not racist, because by definition you are not against a single certain race (unless you count the human race, but even then, you hate everything equally, so it's not just humans that you're against, it's everything in nature).

  • You're all idiots!

If I hate everyone equally its no longer hating a specific person for their skin color/ place of birth, so its being a racist if I hate EVERYONE! If I hated you for being a different color than me then its racist. And another point is that hating a person for their religion isn't being a racist . You morons! If I hate that you are a its called persecution!
