Is it true that most films that were billed as being in Dolby Stereo or Dolby Stereo Spectral Recording (analog) had something digital about them?
  • Wondering here because

    According to one source, it says that digital technology in film was used as early as the late 1980s. But most of the films that came out came out in two formats -- Dolby Stereo and Dolby Stereo Spectral Recording, which basically was analog but there was noise reduction on the tape.
