Is it worse to try something and fail, than to not try at all?

Asked by: SamTheRight
  • This makes you a failure, the other just makes you a nobody.

Do we look down on people who have never existed? No, we can't.

Do we look down on people who have never raped? No, we don't.

Do we look down on people who tried to rape successfully but failed to get away with it? Yes, we do.

Evidence is irrefutable, I am god.

  • It can reduce our confident level

When a person fails in a work they get scared that their surrounding will make fun of them and in hesitation they can attempt suicide its better!!!!!
Human are of shy nature and they are always scared of being bullied and if they feel that due to their nature anyone can bullied then trying is not an better option and bring our confident level to zero.

  • It doesn't matter what we do or don't do.

There is never going to be a conclusion to our existence where a judgement is made as to whether things went well or otherwise, so actions or their absence makes indifference. As you fall asleep at night you don't. Know if you will did in your sleep or wake in the morning. Either way it doesn't make any difference to you. If you die you are not around to have regrets or congratulate yourself for a job well
done. If you live, its not an issue.

  • To be intelligent you must fail.

Failure spurs creativity and allows people to become more humble, understanding people when dealing with others mistakes. When you fail you learn humility, and if you are ever wrong you learn to know that that's okay and to not feel ashamed.

If you are never wrong and always right, then you can and most likely will become arrogant about yourself, believing that you can never be wrong. Besides, if you only do what you know then how can you be creative and help contribute to the future? You can't.

  • No, you can't succeed without trying.

No it is not worse to try something and fail then to not try at all, because there is nothing wrong with not trying. A person has to try in order to succeed. A person who is an expert at anything was once a beginner. Sometimes there is more honor in doing things if you don't know you'll be successful.

  • Learn from your mistakes.

If you don't try anything at all, then you will never know if you were to have succeeded at the task or not. On the other hand, if you try, but fail, you can learn from your mistakes in order to make a better, and hopefully more successful attempt the next time.
