• Anything for the enviornment

While the pipeline could potentially bring in a large supply of fuel, the repercussions to the environment and animals around the proposed area are something that should not be treated lightly. It is a very large project, and it involves moving a lot of heavy pollutants through fragile areas of the environment.

  • The Keystone Pipeline will create jobs and increase energy security.

Exhaustive research has shown that there is no serious ecological threat posed by building the pipeline and the economic benefits to the nation in terms of jobs, income increases, tax revenue, and energy security far outweigh the risks. This pipeline will be built elsewhere to the same net ecological effect and it would be better if this project was a U.S one.

  • It would lower costs.

Yes, it is worth fighting for Keystone, because the Keystone pipeline would mean energy independence for the United States. That would affect our foreign interests tremendously, and it would make us a lot stronger. With the Keystone pipeline, our energy costs would go way down, and we would not be dependent on OPAC.

  • The Keystone XL has little effect either way.

The Keystone XL pipeline creates a simpler and more efficient way to ship crude oil from Canada to Texas. There is going to be obvious impact on the environments that are distrurbed to allow for the construction of the pipeline. Environmentalists cite this as the primary reason to keep from building it. But in the long run, this pipeline will reduce carbon emissions from the trucks or trains that would move the crude oil instead of the use of the pipeline. The long game is the one worth fighting for, and the long game in this instance is to build the pipeline.

  • No It's Not

I do not believe the Keystone Pipeline is something worth fighting for, it has plenty of people against it and I am one of them. I do not believe we need this pipeline because in the end it's something we simply don't need. We need to find ways to replace oil not ways to get just a little bit more.
