Is it wrong for schools to punish students who perform self-defense against bullies, even if the aggressor was truly attempting to harm them?

  • An act of self defense.

Attacking the aggressor is just a form of self defense. Those who are defending themselves just do not want to get hurt, and they should not be punished for that. In the real world, the person trying to defend himself or herself will not be punished. Only the attacker will.
